This is just part of our Staff Contract.

....Said staff member agrees to abide by The Dixie Camps' rules, policies and regulations.

  1. As a staff member you will loyally support and take charge of such duties and activities as may be assigned to you.
  2. That the person named herein will place the needs of the campers above her/his own at all times.
  3. The person named herein will refrain from the use of tobacco while at camp or on a camp outing. If this clause is violated it will mean automatic termination of the contract.
  4. That the person named herein will refrain from the use of alcohol or drugs in any of its forms while in the employment of the camp. If this clause is violated it will mean automatic termination of this contract.
  5. That staff members will wear appropriate camp clothing. Body piercing (except for earrings) and clip on rings are not allowed. Male staff members will not be allowed to have long hair while employed by the camp.
  6. That staff members understand that any deviation from the terms and spirit of this contract will automatically result in its cancellation.
