Camp Dixie’s Father/Son weekend is an incredible experience for all the men and boys in your family to spend quality time together, create new memories and enjoy the great outdoors together.

This is a great way to spend quality one-on-one time with your son(s). You will also get to meet some of our wonderful staff and experience cabin life with your son and other dads and sons.

If your son hasn’t attended camp yet, it is a great way to introduce him to camp before coming to Dixie on his own. He will feel more confident and comfortable when the time comes to spend a session at camp without his dad. He will be familiar with the staff, the cabins, the food and the activities. All from spending a weekend with his dad at Camp Dixie.

For dads with Dixie boys, it is a weekend for them to experience and enjoy some of what their sons loves about Dixie.

The weekend will be full of exciting group activities but there will also be time for you and your son to just be. Choose your activities to participate in together. There will be father/son challenges, team competitions, and of course skits. Activities for the weekend include: Archery, BB’s, Riflery, Ping Pong, Canoeing, Kayaking, Polar Bear Plunge, Board Games, Traditional Camp Games, Campfires and Father/Son Tournament.

The weekend is all-inclusive. Meals are served ‘family style’ in our dining hall. Accommodations are provided in our rustic cabins. You will be grouped with other families with similarly aged boys, or you may request to be in a cabin with another family you already know.

Check-in begins at 5pm on Friday and check-out follows brunch on Sunday.

The cost of the weekend is $130 for adults and $90 for each child. This includes 2 nights, 5 meals, and all activities.

Boys must be camp age to attend (6 to 15 years). CT’s are welcome to bring their dads. Dads may bring more than one son.
